How It Works:

Step One: Consultation

Our Free energy consulting services start with a comprehensive site visit where we can ascertain your energy requirements and identify how we can help save you money. We'll also perform a live demo of our monitoring device, giving you a clear understanding of what it does and how it can benefit you. We'll conduct system checks for compatibility and perform a risk assessment to ensure that the solution we propose is optimal for you. From there, we'll gather the necessary information needed to produce your bespoke quotation that outlines the savings you can expect to make.

Step Two: Device installation

Our energy monitor is an innovative device that enables live monitoring of electrical circuits. It identifies over usage and other system issues, providing valuable data to construct analysis of energy consumption. This valuable information enables building managers and property owners to generate a cost-saving plan, helping to reduce unnecessary expenditures and optimize energy usage. The energy monitor is an efficient and effective tool for managing energy consumption, enhancing sustainability, and improving overall performance.

Step 3: Energy saving solutions

After compiling a months data we would identify the best solution for each individual customer and provide a quotation for the cost-saving potential of the chosen solution. There are numerous potential energy saving solutions available for both homeowners and business owners. For business owners, solutions may include upgrading to LED lighting, implementing a building automation system, staff training procedures and improving HVAC efficiency. For homeowners, solutions may include upgrading to energy-efficient appliances and lighting, installing insulation in walls and attics, and sealing air leaks.

How did we help?

National Sameday

After installing a monitoring device on our client's electricity system, we were able to identify unnecessary costs associated with their energy usage. We noticed that they were renting out part of their premises to other companies, but they were not charging these tenants for their share of electricity costs.

By utilising our monitoring device, we were able to accurately measure the energy consumption of each tenant and calculate their share of the electricity bill. This resulted in our client being able to charge the tenants for their usage, which helped them to reduce their own energy costs.

Overall, our solution not only helped our client save money on their own electricity bill but also allowed them to generate revenue from their tenants. This demonstrates the effectiveness of implementing energy management solutions to optimise cost savings and increase profitability.

VioVet

The implementation of an energy monitor in a client's building allowed for closer tracking of lighting usage. Analysis showed that old sodium high bay lights in the warehouse was the largest power consumption building, we recommended upgrading to LED highbay lights to address this issue.

The LED lights were installed throughout the warehouse, providing better illumination and substantially reducing energy consumption. The average power consumption of the LED lights was found to be 150 watts per fixture, compared to the previous fluorescent lights' 450 watts per fixture. The installation of the LED lights resulted in a 66% reduction in energy consumption, leading to significant cost savings for the company.

The switch to LED highbay lights also resulted in better illumination for employees and reduced maintenance costs in the long run, as LED lights have a longer lifespan than traditional lighting systems. Additionally, LED lights are more environmentally-friendly as they do not contain hazardous materials like mercury. Overall, switching to LED highbay lights proved to be a smart investment for the company, resulting in improved illumination, energy savings, and reduced maintenance costs.

Elite Warehouses

After the implementation of the energy monitor, we were able to closely track the usage of lighting in our clients building. The analysis showed that the lights were being overused, even when certain areas of the building were unoccupied. This led to an average lighting consumption of 12 hours per day, which was significantly higher than the actual requirement.

To tackle this issue, we implemented smart motion detectors that turned off the lights in the unoccupied areas automatically. This resulted in a reduction in average lighting consumption from 12 hours to 7 hours per day, almost halving the consumption. This reduction in lighting consumption also led to a significant reduction in their electricity bills.

As a result of this energy-saving measure, we were able to not only save on our clients utility bills but also reduce their carbon footprint.
